Thanks very much to Mike and the whole team at Cheslyn for their really professional work on our house.
They’ve been friendly, helpful and really hard working throughout. They’ve always delivered and have ironed out any small problems quickly and without any stress. We’re delighted with the results – highly recommended!
The team at Cheslyn Building Contractors have recently completed a fantastic house renovation for us.
It was a 9 month build which consisted of two separate extensions, new walk-in bay, new roof and rendering to the entire property.
The team at Cheslyn did a brilliant job and we are over the moon with our finished home. Despite there being relatively poor access to the property and having us live here for a large parts of the build, this proved no problem for them to accommodate.
Communication with Mike and Caddy was excellent throughout and all of the team we had work on the project were a pleasure to have on site. We would highly recommend Cheslyn to others.
Choosing a building company for a home renovation can be daunting, but our experience with Cheslyn Builders for our kitchen-diner renovation and exterior works was outstanding. From start to finish, their professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were exceptional.
The team managed the entire project seamlessly, keeping us informed at every stage. The kitchen-diner transformation is truly remarkable.
The quality of the finishes is superb, and the team ensured everything was completed to a very high standard, exceeding our expectations. Similarly, the exterior works were carried out with the same level of precision and care, significantly enhancing our home’s curb appeal.
What truly set Cheslyns apart was their commitment to excellence and their friendly, approachable manner. They were always on time, incredibly tidy, and respectful of our home. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Mike and his team to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality building company.
I can highly recommend Mat and the team at Cheslyn Building Contractors. Just finished a single storey extension to our house started in Jan this year. Regular site visits by Mat and quick communication no matter how small made the process very smooth. If you are looking for a building company with quality trades and honest advice then look no further.
We have recently had an extension to our kitchen and utility provided by Cheslyn Builders.
Throughout the process they have been efficient and professional in ensuring that the work has progressed on time and to budget.
The workforce were polite, good humoured and tidy with any issues dealt with in a helpful and prompt manner.
We are very happy with the final result and have no hesitation in endorsing their work.
Many thanks and good luck for the future to Mike, Melanie and all the Team at Cheslyn.
Mark and Matt are a credit to their trade. Everything is clear from the outset and their knowledge helps cover any gaps in what you think you know about building an extension or even a house. This review is a long time coming but thank you guys, we’ve been enjoying our home now for 3 and half years and love everything about it.
We have been delighted by Cheslyn builders having completed our wraparound extension on our Victorian terrace property and we would highly recommend Cheslyn builders. Every day apart from two days during the 18 week project.
There was always one of the many teams on site. Rickie, the project manager helped us enormously advising us along the way when solutions were required. he was always on hand even once on a Saturday. It was an enormous project for us not having embarked upon anything like this before however we had lots of reassurance from Mike, Rickie, Mel and their teams.
From the office team delivery drivers, grounds people through to the brickies, the roofers, the plasterers, the plumbers, the electricians and the carpenters all were very professional helpful and pleasant, from time to time they even sang and whistled…. in tune… a good sign that they’re happy with their work. All the trades people came with a “can do” attitude, taking care and going the extra mile when needed.
A local family run business with good communications flowing between each other is a really good indication of a business run well. “Treating others as you would want to be treated” a principle very evident within the Cheslyn family of trade teams and all their associates.
Project started back last August – really pleased with the results & the various contractors that Cheslyn put us in contact with. Would highly recommend Matt & his team. Many thanks. Chris & Wendy
